VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA– Multiactive Software Inc., a leading developer of unified e-business and customer relationship management (CRM) software, is working with Research in Motion's (RIM)BlackBerry Wireless Handhelds(TM) in an effort to combine technologies.
Entice! software, a Multiactive product that provides mobile commerce and CRM tools, can integrate seamlessly with the BlackBerry, allowing businesspeople to directly access and update customer information in a corporate database from anywhere in real-time. Entice! is the first complete mid-market CRM application to be optimized for RIM's BlackBerry devices and the software also includes a customizable personal portal that allows users to view the specific information in their corporate Entice! database.
Unlike other currently available PDAs, BlackBerry devices are unique because they stay connected to the wireless network at all times, allowing users to continually transmit while also offering a direct access to data. The RIM technology combined with Entice! allows mobile users to not only instantly access and respond to e-mail, but to view current corporate information, deliver essential documents, and verify or update data in real-time.
“BlackBerry customers value the ability to stay connected whether they're on the road or simply away from their desk,” says Mark Guibert, Director of Marketing at Research In Motion. “Combining Entice! with BlackBerry(TM) provides business clients with an “Always On, Always Connected.” solution for communications and information management that will help them exceed their customers' expectations and succeed in a competitive marketplace.”
Multiactive is a global organization, developing software that enables organizations to unify their traditional sales and marketing efforts with the advantages of the Internet and wireless technology.
