New CEO Gets Comfy At White Pajama
Updated · Mar 20, 2002
The name sounds laidback, but White Pajama is strictly business.
The Hayward, Calif.-based customer relationship management (CRM) software provider Wednesday named Michael Burkland as its new president CEO.
Burkland succeeds White Pajama co-founder Mansour Salame, who is expected to continue to serve on the board and focus on developing strategic partnerships.
Prior to joining White Pajama, Burkland was chairman, president and CEO of Omniva Policy Systems. He was also founder and CEO of Eventus Software, a developer of Web content management software, acquired by Segue Software in 1998.
White Pajama's main product is a CRM contact center solution for small and medium businesses. Because it is delivered via the Internet, the company says customers can have their customer service, help desk, and technical support centers up and running in as few as three days, with no capital outlay.
