salesforce.com, Sprint In Wireless CRM Alliance

SAN FRANCISCO & KANSAS CITY, MO–salesforce.com, a deliverer of enterprise applications as
online services, has announced an alliance with wireless carrier Sprint PCS. salesforce says
the alliance will provide its online customer relationship management suite
as part of the Sprint PCS Wireless Web for Business.
According to the announcement, salesforce.com customers will get anytime, anywhere access to
its CRM applications on Sprint's all-digital voice and data PCS wireless network and Sprint PCS
customers who subscribe to salesforce.com will be able wirelessly access them. As part of the
Sprint PCS Wireless Web for Business, they say customers will be able to access salesforce.com
at their convenience on the browser of a Sprint PCS Internet-ready Phone and require little or
no training or IT support.

information and collaboration of the Internet. Our alliance with Sprint PCS adds a new
dimension to traditional customer relationship management,” said John Dillon, president and
CEO of salesforce.com. “With online enterprise subscription services like salesforce.com
available on Sprint PCS Internet-ready Phones, sales teams across the country will have
transparent access to mission-critical sales information virtually anytime, anywhere.”

The companies say they will develop and maintain a co-branded web site for customers who sign
up for the wireless application once it is available in the next few months.
