EDS has signed a three-year, worldwide master software licensing deal with E.piphany, Inc. allowing them to become a reseller of E.piphany E.5TM — a suite of customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
EDS has formed collaborative alliances with companies, such as E.piphany, in order to help clients technologically resolve business problems. The E.piphany E.5 system will represent EDS's integrated CRM service offerings, chosen for its high functionality.
“Though this relationship, EDS is now able to offer a more powerful combination of real-time marketing, sales and service applications,” said Mike Littell, president, EDS Customer Relationship Management.
With an integrated suite of software solutions, E.piphany E.5 blends Web-based analytic and operational CRM to unify all inbound and outbound marketing, sales and customer service interactions. Additionally, E.piphany E.5 enables a single, enterprise-wide view of each customer, regardless of whether they fall into the business-to-consumer (B2C) or business-to-business (B2B) category.
“As CRM initiatives expand, organizations require technology solutions that bring real time intelligence, not just automation to customer interactions. By offering the E.piphany solution to both its hosted and direct customers, EDS is enabling organizations to provide the intelligence that will strengthen and extend the customer relationship, at every touchpoint, for all customer contacts,” continued Littell.
EDS and E.piphany will also collaborate globally to offer clients and end users analytics-based intelligent CRM solutions that enable companies to drive immediate customer value and rapid organizational return on investment.
Headquartered in San Mateo, Calif., E.piphany has offices throughout North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region and provides CRM solutions for over 300 leading companies in the retail, financial services, communications, technology, and travel industries, including over 20 percent of the Fortune 100.
Plano, Texas-based EDS serves more than 9,000 accounts in 55 countries. In addition to E.piphany, EDS has alliance agreements with Akamai Technologies, Ariba, Inc., ClearTech, Commonwealth Bank Group and Vodafone, EMC, Entrade, GoAmerica, Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, Oracle, SeeBeyond, SUN Microsystems, Telecom New Zealand, UpstreamInfo.com and webMethods.
