Customer relationship management (CRM) software maker E.piphany Tuesday says chief operating officer Bill Walsh will be leaving the company to pursue new leadership opportunities in Silicon Valley.
In Walsh's place, the San Mateo, Calif.-based company says it has promoted Karen Richardson to the position of Executive Vice President, Worldwide Operations.
“We are pleased to announce Karen's promotion as her leadership and relentless drive for performance are invaluable assets to the company,” says E.piphany president and CEO Roger Siboni. “Although we are sorry to see Bill depart, he is taking the next logical step for his career, and I am pleased he will remain part of our company as an E.piphany Fellow.”
In addition to running worldwide sales, Richardson is expected to manage the company's service and training operations.
E.piphany has regional operations and offices throughout North America, Europe and Asia Pacific.
