Updated · Jun 14, 2017
Enterprise software and develop tools vendors Atlassian has made a name for itself over the last several years as a premier provider of enterprise DevOps collaboration tools.
In what in hindsight must seem an obvious move, Atlassian is now bundling its productivity and collaboration software to enable more productivity and collaboration among its user base. The new Atlassian Stack includes:
• Data Center products: JIRA Software, Bitbucket, JIRA Service Desk, Confluence
• Server products: JIRA Core, HipChat, Bamboo, FishEye, Crucible, Crowd
• Add-ons: Portfolio for JIRA, Capture for JIRA, Questions for Confluence, Team Calendars for Confluence
• Premier Support
“Companies realize they must invest in teamwork in order to innovate and succeed,” Bryan Rollins, head of server business at Atlassian, said in a statement. “The Atlassian Stack improves the productivity of the teams working across it, helping teams from IT to finance to marketing and beyond unleash their potential.”
Beyond just the stack Atlassian is also announced what it is calling the world's larges DevOps marketplace.
“Because of Atlassian’s position in software and IT markets, our tools are part of thousands of teams’ DevOps toolchains. It’s no wonder nearly every other leading vendor in the DevOps space offers an integration or add-on with our tool,” Cameron Deatsch, head of server and enterprise marketing at Atlassian, wrote in a blog post. “We’re excited to launch the world’s largest DevOps marketplace with more than 200 add-ons and integrations to let teams custom fit Atlassian to their workflow.”
