BroadVision Monday says it has inked an OEM deal with the Medical Solutions division of German-based Siemens
.
The agreement allows for even more distribution of the Siemens' Health Enterprise Dashboard. The platform is a online healthcare solution built upon the BroadVision One-To-One Enterprise e-business application platform. One-To-One is offered to customers as an in-house application as well as an ASP service.
With Dashboard healthcare industry customers can personalize their Web browsers to improve daily workflow, streamline communications across the enterprise, simplify processes, contain costs and improve patient care.
“We are pleased to be advancing our relationship with Siemens to pursue healthcare market opportunities,” says BroadVision chief marketing officer Chris Grejtak. “The Dashboard leverages BroadVision's advanced personalization and content management capabilities to create a unique and powerful application for the entire healthcare market.”
Siemens Medical Solutions develops and manufactures a broad range of medical equipment including imaging systems for diagnostics, radiation therapy equipment for treatment, audiological products, life support and patient monitoring systems, anesthesia equipment and information technology.
Grejtak says BroadVision boosts that by offering up its enterprise self-service technology with a single sign-on to its health applications for more than 1,000 health providers with connections to over 500,000 customer workstations.
“Enhancing our relationship with BroadVision has allowed Siemens to extend the delivery options for our customers, as well as market reach for our integrated products and partners,” says Siemens e.Health Business Development Manager Rick Pettine. “BroadVision's adherence to industry standards and BroadVision One-To-One Enterprise's personalization capabilities are complementary components to the Dashboard architecture.”
