CallidusCloud Is Salesforce’s Latest Force.com Partner
Updated · Sep 04, 2012
Salesforce.com's enterprise application development ecosystem, Force.com, grew a little bigger today with CallidusCloud's LeadFormix.
LeadFormix is a cloud-based lead generation and management software for sales organizations with an emphasis on social media and mobile access. Sales people receive daily lead reports, including contact information on prospective customers ranked according to their levels of intent.
To make the most of those leads over social channels, the product adds automated marketing campaign management. When combined with LeadFormix's lead scoring and social media monitoring capabilities, sales organizations can generate targeted messaging and drip campaigns.
Rounding out the features is a search engine optimization (SEO) dashboard that consolidates SEO activities, like monitoring whether a website is getting noticed by search engines, into a single interface.
The combination of LeadFormix and Salesforce's app platform will aid organizations in engaging in more targeted and efficient marketing efforts, says Giles House, vice president of Marketing Communications and Products for CallidusCloud.
“The Force.com integration means companies now have one single place to access this critical lead intelligence,” said House in a company statement. “This provides marketing with unparalleled visibility into campaign performance whilst giving sales the ability to focus on and communicate with the right leads for better results.”
Faster conversions are the ultimate goal. Organizations will spend less time chasing after bad leads and more time working on worthwhile prospects on Salesforce, says Ron Huddleston, senior vice president of Alliances at Salesforce.
Salesforce's Force.com platform has been steadily gaining momentum. Last year, ERP specialist Infor gave Force.com a vote of confidence by pledging to develop three ERPs for the platform. Rootstock Software, a maker of cloud manufacturing and supply chain apps, in May teamed with Force.com app builder FinancialForce.com to bring its tech to Salesforce.
