Ethisphere recently placed Salesforce.com on its list of the World's Most Ethical Companies for the fourth year in a row.
"The company's ‘1/1/1 policy' receives praise frequently for its commitment to community and an overall feeling of employee and customer satisfaction," according to EDL Consulting. "As part of the model, employees spend 1 percent of their work hours volunteering in the community, Salesforce donates 1 percent of its product to providing nonprofits with customized CRM software and employees receive 1 percent of the company's profits."
"Earlier this year, Fast Company named Salesforce.com one of the web's most innovative companies for its willingness to leverage the growth of cloud computing to become one of the most successful SaaS vendors on the web," the article states.
