CustomerLink Drives Toward SoCal Auto Industry Market
Updated · Jul 27, 2001
CustomerLink Systems, provider of customer relationship management (CRM) solutions to the automotive service and repair industry, continues a campaign to infiltrate the Southern California market. The automotive service market in Southern California represents a significant market penetration opportunity for CustomerLink's CRM service and the company has already taken several steps toward capturing that regional audience.
To help facilitate its cause, CustomerLink obtained an exclusive endorsement from the Automotive Service Council of California (ASC-CA). CustomerLink also made a key hire that will help achieve the regional objectives. Automotive industry veteran and ASE Certified Mastertechnician, Mr. Bob Hesse was selected to manage the customer acquisition and expansion efforts in Southern California. In addition to owning and operating his own shop in Anaheim, CA for six years, Hesse was very involved with the ASC and held management positions with a Los Angeles based AC-Delco parts distributor.
Hesse states, “I have had first-hand experience and can completely relate to the pressures of being an automotive shop owner. In my opinion, the most neglected aspect of the auto repair shop today is the front office, which is a shame because that is where future business lives. Most shop owners don't have time for the ever-important customer communication. That is why the CustomerLink service is a perfect fit for today's busy shop.” Hesse continues, “I accepted the position with CustomerLink because they understand and are committed to meeting the needs of the automotive service professional.”
Says Anthony Romano, vice president of business development for CustomerLink, “Bob will be instrumental in helping us accomplish our mission of being the leading provider of outsourced CRM services for the automotive service market.”
Headquartered in Roseville, Calif., CustomerLink develops and delivers auto industry specific CRM systems that help service providers to increase customer count, retain their customer base and generate greater profits without spending any incremental time or effort. Products include automatic reminders to vehicle owners for future service intervals and various coupons, promotions and surveys on behalf of their service provider.
