Experian, CedarCrestone Partner on CRM for Higher Education
Updated · Feb 23, 2010
Address verification solutions provider Experian QAS and consulting firm CedarCrestone have collaborated on an updated version of Experian QAS for Oracle's PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. The new interface offers improved usability and seamless integration with the PeopleSoft environment.
"The platform helps colleges and universities conduct CRM initiatives," writes DMNews' Nathan Golla.
"The updated platform, which will be released early next month, makes it easier for college admissions and alumni departments to share data," Golla writes. "Traditionally, admissions departments focus on acquisition, while alumni departments concentrate on retention."
"These enhancements are the direct result of conversations with our clients, who requested additional functionality to better support critical business functionas," says David Northridge, director of customer retention at Experian QAS. "The timing is also important, as a number of colleges and universities are evaluating address validation vendors for their version 9.0 PeopleSoft applications."
"[The] new functionality should help colleges and universities improve key business processes, which continue to be a critical focus of our higher-education consulting and hosting services," says CedarCrestone general manager of higher education Jim Lyon.
