Onyx and Primus Join to Help Moso
Updated · Jul 18, 2001
Ericsson Microsoft Mobile Venture will be the beneficiary of a joint effort by Primus and Onyx® Software. The companies have combined to create a robust knowledge-enabled customer relationship management (CRM) platform that will allow full time accessibility to sales, support and resolution information for Ericsson Microsoft Mobile Venture's employees, partners and customers.
The combined solution was designed for the Ericsson Microsoft Mobile Venture product, Moso. Moso incorporates personal digital assistant (PDA) functions, such as address book and calendar with e-mail, wireless Web, chat, instant messaging and other components into an all-in-one system. So far, Moso solution has only been commercially launched in Norway and New Zealand. The integrated CRM solution featuring the Primus Web-based software and the Onyx thin-client portal suite will provide quality service and support options for Moso customers through a single seamless interface.
“Onyx and Primus have great synergy,” said David Ridout, vice president of Primus Business Development. “Together, we can deliver a quantifiable ROI to our joint customers by significantly increasing organizational efficiencies through Web-based and traditional service. We're looking forward to helping more clients secure the financial and customer satisfaction rewards that come from managing customer relationships and knowledge resources more efficiently.”
Onyx and Primus are currently working with SAFECO, Firstlogic and Captura on integrated CRM and sales/support knowledge management installations, and Primus currently uses Onyx technology to enable its own CRM processes. Primus is one of Onyx's key knowledge application software partners.
