Reuters, Siebel Pair Off

News, financial data and tech company Reuters is teaming up with San Mateo,
Calif.-based business software firm Siebel Systems Inc. to develop and
co-market solutions for managing customer relationships in the financial
services sector.
Beth Cox has been a well-known keynote speaker and author as well as a business and technology advisor. She helps companies improve their business performance, better utilize data, and understands the implications of new technologies, such as (AI)artificial intelligence, big data, blockchains and the Internet of Things.
London-based Reuters , which culls data from some 260
stock exchanges and over-the-counter markets worldwide, said it will work
with Siebel to integrate Reuters financial solutions with
Siebel e-business applications.
Reuters also becomes a Siebel Premier Content Partner. Financial
arrangements between the companies were not disclosed.
“By combining Reuters proven business integration skills with Siebel Systems'
expertise in customer relationship management, we can lower total cost of
ownership,” said Alex Hungate, Reuters' chief marketing officer and
president of its Focus Group Accounts business segment. “The relationship
with Siebel Systems will enable our customers — especially our wealth
management customers – to better service their client base.”
Last week, Reuters said it is working with Hewlett-Packard, Intel and Red Hat
to make Reuters Market Data System (RMDS) available on Intel-based servers
running Linux, the open source operating system. The service will run on
Intel Xeon processor and Intel Itanium processor family-based servers from
