SANTA ANA, CA–Advanstar Communications has announced the
second annual CRM Solutions New York taking place May 1-3, 2001 at the Jacob Javits
Convention Center. The business information company says the event will feature a
vertical focus on the finance and telecommunications industries.
“By incorporating a vertical focus on finance and telecommunications into our overall
program, we are leveraging the New York City location and offering more relevant content
to the attendees,” said Liz Crawford, group show director for Advanstar Communications.
“These ‘early adopters' are the top prospects for many CRM vendors who will be exhibiting
at the event.”
The event will also feature a CRM strategies conference track to appeal
to a broader audience, according to Advanstar. Tom Brokaw, the broadcaster known for
his in-depth analysis of the day's economic, social and political issues, will give
the keynote address and will offer his unique insight into the current and future state
of the media.
Advanstar says, with 3,000 expected attendees and 75 exhibitors, CRM Solutions New York
is for sales, marketing, IT, Operations and Customer Support executives tasked with
implementing a CRM initiative. Chaired by Knowledge Capital Group, the conference will
feature case studies and consulting from DLJ, The Home Depot, Sabre,
Charles Schwab, Fleet Bank, Qwest, Verizon, and others. Event sponsors
are Aspect Communications, Kana, and PeopleSoft.
Exhibiting companies include providers of customer enablement technologies,
e-business solutions, Internet customer service, sales force automation, Web-based
marketing and sales, and system integrators. According to Advanstar, attendees are
top level executives from across the enterprise from the retail, finance, banking, and
