Updated · May 17, 2001
StorageApps Inc. this week announced the formal opening of its Global Customer Center where customers, prospects and partners participate in interactive demonstrations of the company's storage networking solutions. The center also offers learning facilities and an integration lab.
The multi-million-dollar Global Customer Center project, located in central New Jersey, was completed this month and contains more than 20,000 square feet. More than 100 employees work at the facility.
"From the moment visitors enter our Global Customer Center, they are wrapped in the StorageApps brand, and everything we do communicates the company's stature as a world-class storage networking solutions company," said Andrew Lona, StorageApps chief marketing officer. "Our Global Customer Center reflects the character of the kinds of worldwide customers StorageApps serves–financial services, Fortune 1000, Internet companies and others–and demonstrates our total dedication to customer service and satisfaction, and to meeting the expectations these customers have. It is literally an extension of our brand."
The Global Customer Center features three main areas where visitors can learn about various ways to address storage networking challenges: the "Solutions Showcase," where they can participate in demonstrations of the company's products and services; the StorageApps "IQ Lab," where visitors can literally "test drive" a complete solution before buying; and StorageApps University, where partners and customers can be trained in various StorageApps solutions.
